Lookmade is a Stupid Object that is a whole place. We didn't think it was possible but it is.
At a currently unknown point in 199█, the villages of Lookmade, Cornwall and Lookmade, Delaware switched places. No resident noticed and continued lives as normal.
Residents of both towns believe they are proper American and English citizens respectively, and appear to have no knowledge that a switch has happened. All interviewees have claimed they were born in their respective countries, and have not acknowledged memories of distinctively American or British customs and wildlife as being out of place.
Discovery
The town of Lookmade, Cornwall was first brought to Stupid Object Containment attention when a user of iNaturalist, a naturalist website dedicated to users cataloging wildlife and plantlife, discovered a grove of fully mature Pinus strobus trees. A scientists dispatched to Lookmade, Cornwall reported a wide variety of native United States plantlife growing within a circular radius of approximately three kilometers.
Containment
All communication leaving Lookmade will be manually reviewed and edited to the correct spelling of "colour", "cheque", etcetera. All incoming communication will be edited similarly to remove spelling differences.
