Gawk is a series of emotes depicting a hamster with a realistic human face edited onto it. As the name suggests, the original "gawk" emoji depicted the hamster gawking in bewilderment or shock. The emote quickly gained popularity in I Hate Art circles for its versatility, as well as the fact it's still a funny image.
