SOC-013
SOC-013 is a phenomenon observed across many children's MMO video games. It primarily manifests in low-traffic or soon-to-be-closed games, and takes the form of a "guest user" if this is an available option, or a default character named "guest" if there is no formal guest user available. It is unknown how many instances of SOC-013 are still active, as children's MMO games are not as common anymore, and even fewer still have trial or guest accounts. However, SOC-013 has been known to manifest in recreations of defunct games, albeit at a lower rate.

SOC-013 can often be found in isolated corners of major hub areas in games it manifests in. It is able to circumvent many limitations of the usual guest or new user in any game it appears in, such as inability to chat or enter certain areas, such as homes and shops. SOC-013 does not begin conversations itself, but if spoken to, it will either respond in chat, or teleport to another location in the game. The teleportation behavior seems to occur when any request for "personal information" is given, such as asking for a name or age. SOC-013 prefers to uses pre-typed "speedchat" messages in games where this is available, and will scold the user speaking to it if they use bad "netiquette," such as typing in all caps or attempting to start arguments.
SOC-013 seems to have an infinite supply of currency for whatever game it manifests in, and has access to any "premium" features despite using a guest or new account. If conversation is engaged with SOC-013 and the user speaking to it expresses being new themself, or low on currency, upon concluding the conversation they will find a large amount of currency added to their account, or high-value items sent to them through the in-game player-to-player item transfer system. Items received through this manner will display as being sent from "A Friend" regardless of any username used by SOC-013. These items and currency never generate flags for "cheating" behavior, and seem to the game to be completely legitimately acquired by SOC-013.
Attempts to forcibly kick SOC-013 from a room or server universally fail, and even if SOC-013 is using a "real" account rather than a guest one, it cannot be banned or removed from the game while SOC-013 is online and actively using the account. SOC-013 has responded to removal attempts with sad emoticons or disappointed chat messages, but never displays any sort of violence or retaliatory behavior. If asked politely, it will leave a game area that it is currently occupying, but only if those asking promise to "stay safe online."
Consider it Kind.
